PERKINS SCHOOL OF THEOLOGY CERTIFICATE IN SPIRITUAL DIRECTION (CSD)
Become a compassionate listener in the Christian way of life and help others find the movement of the Holy Spirit in their lives.
Every August and April new CSD cohorts are formed.
Applications for the August 29-30 cohort are due June 30.
Classes will meet in person.
Time commitment: 8 training weekends over 3 years.
Cost: $435 per weekend. Meals and parking are included. CEUs are additional.

SPIRITUAL DIRECTOR SUPERVISION
Supervision for Spiritual Directors is professional development. In addition, the SDI ethical guidelines state that active spiritual directors should avail themselves of supervision regularly. This guideline may be met by individual or group supervision.
SUPERVISION AT HEARTPATHS DFW
Supervision is offered for any active spiritual director and is facilitated by
HeartPaths faculty trained in supervision. Graduates of other spiritual direction programs are welcome.
Beginning in September 2022, group sessions meet monthly
- Thursday mornings
- Thursday afternoons
- Friday mornings
Available both in-person and online.
Group supervision is $190 for the academic year.
Individual supervision is also available with a HeartPaths faculty member.
In addition to the monthly Peer Supervision Groups, we are offering a short (3 session) sample of the Australian method this summer to allow spiritual directors to experience this contemplative model that doesn’t require a full Verbatim or Contemplative Reflection Form (CRT).

SUPERVISION AT RETREAT HOUSE
Supervision is offered for active spiritual companions through Retreat House Spirituality Center and is facilitated (online and in-person) by supervisors trained through Together in the Mystery and Perkins School of Theology.
Existing days and times are:
Monday mornings, midday, and evenings (Lil Smith online and in person)
Tuesday mornings (Lee Jarrell online)
Wednesday evenings (Tee Bolin online)
Thursday evenings (Tee Bolin and Lee Jarrell online)
Group supervision is $100 for six sessions (July – Dec., and Jan. – June). Payments are made to your supervisor. Individual supervision by appointment ($75 per hour).
