“…and, christmas is a time to receive the gift of love from another.” julie wortman
Since the Advent season is a time of preparation, one particular preparation is to be aware of and cultivate the divine presence around us and within us. With all the hustle and bustle of the season, it is often so difficult to pause and notice the love that is at the heart of the season. We celebrate Jesus’ birth in part to celebrate the birth of love into the world. This season, may we take that time to offer our love to another and to the world and may we take the time to notice and gratefully accept the love coming our way. In this way, we welcome God and God’s love into the world and into our hearts.
