In a country that seems more and more polarized, how are we supposed to talk about politics? What does it mean to extend and receive grace when talking about hot-button political issues? We’ll explore how the lack of grace is affecting our discourse, our motivations when talking about politics, and the dangers of closing our minds as we interact with other children of God.
The Rev. Jessica Wright serves as Associate Pastor at First United Methodist Church of Allen. Jessica is a founding board member for Change the World Allen, which seeks to help equip members of the community to serve their neighbors and increase civic engagement.
