Embodied Prayer: Our Bodies as a Spiritual Resource
Presented by Tracy DePue

10:00am – 12:00pm

Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration
14115 Hillcrest Road
Dallas, TX 75254

Our bodies hold vast resources for expanding the way in which we enter into connection and conversation with the Divine. The five senses, and how our bodies move and express emotion, can lead us into a deeper connection with God, self, others, and creation. In this program, we will explore ways to expand our awareness and engagement of the body as a holy resource for prayer, taking the practice of prayer beyond what words alone cannot express.

Tracy DePue became a spiritual director through SMU Perkins School of Theology in 2020, and completed Level 1 training as an Internal Family Systems Practitioner in early 2023. In her ministry, InsideOut Spiritual Living, Tracy holds space for others to explore the fullness of their inner spiritual life through storytelling, book studies, spiritual direction, and Internal Family Systems. Before beginning her spiritual direction ministry Tracy served as a full-time Minister of Music for 26 years, serving churches in Texas and Arkansas.
